On Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Ministry of Justice and Public Order a meeting was held between the Minister, Mr. Ionas Nicolaou and Mr. Kostas Daltas member of the Organising Committee of the 1st Radisson Blu International Marathon of Larnaca.
At the meeting, Mr. Ionas Nikolaou has accepted the proposal to become a member of the Organising Committee, as well as the 1st Radisson Blu International Marathon of Larnaca to be under the auspices and support of his ministry.
During the meeting they discussed among other things, the course of the Marathon, as well as details of the safe conduct of the race where the two parties completely agreed.
The Radisson Blu International Larnaca Marathon will take place on Sunday,19th of November and includes: Marathon Race (42,195 km), Half Marathon Race (21,095 km), 10 km, 5 km – Corporate race, 5 km – individual and 1km – McDonald’s™ Kids Race and Fun Race for adults.
The marathon is organized under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Education and Science Culture, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Civil Defense, the Cyprus Police, the Volunteer Commissioner and Non-Governmental Organizations, the Commissioner for the Environment,The Cyprus Sport Organization (CSO), the Cyprus Amateur Federation Athletics Athletics (KOEAS) and the Pancyprian Football Association.
